Defender Heavy-Duty Tarp

Great material; may have to procure another one.

My tarp kit arrived right on time. It is well made and water rolls off it like the back of a duck! The tensioning straps work great to get it tight. It packs up into a nice tight roll that fits well in the top compression straps of my pack. Lots of room for two people under this tarp!

I have shelves full of tarps from silnylon hiking tarps to heavy duty urethane coated hammock covers. I love this tarp. It is so solid and well built that I have changed my idea of what weight tarp I take hiking. This thing is my favorite and will probably last longer than I do.

When your life is going to depend on it you want something rugged that's going to last. This tarp provides more room than my 2 person tent and weighs less. It has plenty of tie outs for different configurations. I ordered one that had a minor defect when it arrived but to claim the warranty was painless and easy. I just sent the company a photo and order number and they sent me a new one without the hassle and cost of having to send the old one back. You just don't offer a warranty like that if you sell a junk product. I have confidence this tarp will shelter through 4 seasons. Buy it!
