I needed something to ensure that if a drink or other liquid spilled near or in my backpack, my laptop would not get wet. This fit the bill pretty nicely. I'd like if it were a little easier to slip the laptop in and out, but overall it works as I intended, acting as an inner sleeve within the laptop pocket of my bag. I haven't actually tested its waterproofing, but I'm hoping it will do the job it was designed for when/if the time comes.

Great case, bought it to carry my laptop on an international trip that involved a long boat ride across open ocean and it made me feel so secure. It's been my go-to for any travel with the chance of rain or water exposure of any sort for my laptop, which is my life. The major bonus has been the great handle on top that makes it so much easier to carry around even when the sun's out, as well as to pull the case out of my occasionally overstuffed carry-on when getting up to the security line at the airport. Overall great product, I believe it will last for a long time.

This is a great case but has no longevity. The 'ziploc-esque' waterproofing seal is essentially too strong for the plastic its made out of. Half of the plastic zipper stays sealed to the other side when you open the bag, so the zipper itself tears apart from the section that adheres to the bag. The company has been great and replaced my first one worry free, but now I am only a few more months into the replacement and the same thing is happening. If this lasted longer (I have had two that only lasted 3 months with daily use) it would be a 5 star.

So far this case has worked great. I use it with and without the padded inner layer depending on where I am going. I also use it for other electronics I really don't want to get wet when it is raining. The seal seems to hold very well and the handle is quite sturdy.
